Enigmatic, charismatic and magnetic, are just some of the superlatives you could use to describe Robbie Williams.
As a red blooded male, I have no reservations about liking him and his music.
His story is mad. His lifestsyle is mad. But what a showman. Some people were born to perform and do their best work in the gaze of the world.
Guy Chambers was his long standing Bernie, and the melodies are infectious. He has sang his emotions to the world. Raw and authentic.
I’m pleased we still have him. He should be cherished. We had George, who was often ridiculed by the media. Sure he did some odd stuff, but he was clearly a sensitive soul.
The opening lines to one of my favourite Robbie songs, Something Beautiful says, ‘you can’t manufacture a miracle’. Well, Mr Williams, you have.
I DO want to rock DJ, and I WILL let you entertain me, and I’ll be doing so this afternoon. An afternoon of music. I’ll ’Take That’. It will nice for the Emirates to see someone lift a cup.
No regrets. They don’t work…
