Spring has sprung and it is traditionally a good time for cleaning. Old clothes, clutter and disused electronics. This year, why not add your mind to the list of things to declutter.
I often wonder how much people unconsciously carry. I also wonder if age is a factor. The longer the magnet walks through the scrapyard the more unwanted attachment it has.
I was recently accused of not being open to perspectives, to which I replied that I certainly am, but credibility matters. I wont take perspectives from puddle deep understanding.
The same person also used three therapy terms when describing me, that I believe are out of context. Gaslighting. Love bombing and Manosphere.
Why have people collected these terms to describe ordinary life. Gaslighting is used to describe typical disagreements. Love bombing is used to describe someone showing emotion or affection, and the manosphere is used to describe men who know what they want. I had spoken of being chosen, respected and being useful, and I was told my views belong in the manosphere.
This person thought that all of her points were rational whilst being irrational.

I wonder what Shakespeare would have made about romance in 2026. He wouldnt have to make a comedy out of is, as the irony and comic madness come with the product.
A play might be called “much ado about everything”
The person that made these comments to me is in therapy. She saw it as something altruistic. Despite our 5 second culture. Mastery begins with listening . Going to a French lesson every week but not listening is not learning.
Modern dating concerns me. The magnet brings so much unnecessary clutter to the table. Preconceptions, therapy speak, and judgements in a volume that make a real man look foreign.
We need to be open to more rational thinking based on rational observations.
This spring, take a look at what your mind has acquired and ask yourself if it is helping you get to where you want to be or if it is slowing you down.
Dont be afraid to discard or upcycle the clutter. Unwanted items are just that, and not everyone is the same. Past has no purpose in the present.
