Hyperthophy is what they call it in the gym. In life it is called personal growth.
I am a big believer in learning from experience. Not gaining wisdom per se, but deep diving what happens and why. The learning from these experiences is incredibly valuable. You learn what you need, what you dont need and how to get it.
Boundaries in life are essential. Unapologetically defend your time, mind and emotions.
My year has been tough. But all of the challenges have been my decision. I have chosen the scenarios and the people in my life. All have provided growth opportunities. Like the gym, the gain comes from pain.
In 2025, I know more about what I need and want in all aspects of my life. I have defined more boundaries and I protect my peace with my actions. I choose better company, because I know what I need to be the best version of me.
I forgive those that make decisions for themselves that impact my life. Putting your needs above others is not selfish. It is life.
I dial up and down the version of myself I present to the world to give my best to those that deserve to see it or where I choose to give it.
The joy of aging and growing means that when you lean into it you change. Your opinions of you become more important than those of others. Have a growth mindset but have fixed views on what good looks like for you.
I know myself more, I trust myself more, and I give what I want with little or no expectation. This feels good. Forgive those that dont see what you see. Your value exists whether it is seen, and if you want it to be seen, show them. Never hide from authenticity. It is what makes us all unique.
As 2026 approaches, I am presenting what could be the best version of myself to-date. I use my time to achieve things that matter to me. I am excited where this growth will take me and I am grateful for the experiences, good and bad that have allowed me to grow.
EVERY experience is a chance to learn about yourself if you spend the time to analyse it objectively.
