Almost 20 years on from my first visit to the island, what a privilege to be back. 

The Venga boys are now Venga middle aged men, along with my crew for the weekend, but the warm air, and the vibe is as infectious as a week in Magaluf. 

I haven’t seen a Trent 12 shirt yet but I’m sure they will be around on the beach.

Sat in a cab to the airport, Sean Paul was on the radio. Maybe those 20 years have passed slower here. Gimme the light, but point it towards my cigar!

Fun to see Fern Cotton on my flight. No relation to Dot, but nice looking in the flesh. I read she came out of a marriage, so maybe that hair is down in both the literal and methophorical sense. 

A cold beer is now in hand. The view is not bad, and I’m the youngest I’ll ever be. The night is young and the town looks like it needs a fresh coat. Lucky I bought my red paint.
